Book Signing Event This Friday!

Local author Walter G. Esselman will be signing his books at the Dancing Eye Gallery this Friday, January 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. Esselman is the author of numerous works including 64 published short stories and one novella. He earned 1st place in the World of Myth’s Open Contract Challenge in 2020.

Walter says “Catmandu is notable for having Only one commandment: Don’t Be a Jerk. This includes not only to other living things, but yourself as well.”

This makes us think of cat-related Valentine’s ideas, too – a perfect pairing with one of Walter’s books!

Self Love and Healing With Gemstones and Crystals

Take a self love journey this new year by effortlessly carrying and/or wearing crystals or gemstones of your choice, depending on what qualities you are looking for.

They work in harmony with our energies to open our chakras, and can promote self awareness, confidence, growth and healing. They help us focus on what we need to be happy. In the interest of self love, the Dancing Eye Gallery is adding new gemstones and crystals to our current assortment. Come in, take a deep breath and relax as you look at our jewelry, pocket heart gemstones, journals and other related products!

Leni Sinclair Event

Meet and talk with Leni Sinclair the first Friday in December at the Dancing Eye Gallery. Though her interests and accomplishments are many, this event will highlight her photographs of rock and jazz musicians taken since the 1960s. The gallery has a variety of her photographs as cards suitable for sending or framing. Please join us! Below is a sampling of our Leni Sinclair cards.

Ready to Rock and Roll?

The Dancing Eye Gallery will be rockin’ this Friday, November 11, from 6-8 p.m. when author of Turn the Page, Edward Balian, will be signing his book. His book tells the story of Detroit’s own Bob Seger. It’s guaranteed to be a fun night with lots of insight about Bob!

Don’t leave the gallery without a Bob Seger memento!

Of course, the book!
