Ever wonder what IS on the other side? Well, the Dancing Eye Gallery has a big surprise for you! OUR Other Side is now officially open on weekends from 10-7 Fridays and Saturdays, and from 12-5 on Sundays. Just follow the bright and colorfully painted murals through our hallway, (artwork compliments of Kill Taupe Studio in Ypsilanti) which leads to our newly created space designed to increase your shopping delight! To clarify: Our original store continues to be open seven days/week, our usual hours. The Other Side is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Come and see!
As we continue to celebrate women this month, we also note that Tuesday, March 21 is World Poetry Day, The Dancing Eye Gallery has several poetry books as well as beautiful notebooks perfect for composing your own verse.
March is Women’s History Month and National Reading Month. Tying these two delightful subjects together, we are highlighting books written by women and other related items at the Dancing Eye Gallery.
Beer may be the oldest alcoholic drink in the world, but it will have a new home in downtown Northville very soon! The brewpub Great White Buffalo Brewing Company is opening it’s doors this Friday. It’s directly across Main St. from the Dancing Eye Gallery! Stop in to both places this weekend for fun, shopping and BEER!
Join us this Friday, February 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. to meet Northville author Keith Gall. He’ll be signing his newly published supernatural thriller Shadowholde, first in a new series. Gall is a lifelong hometown resident. Go Northville! See you on Friday!
This is the weekend to hang out in downtown Northville! This Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. warm up with Chili’in the Ville – a chili competition. Your taste buds will love you! Good thing our fire departments will be close by!
One of the newest artists represented at the gallery is a very imaginative person named Seth. He lives and works in the magical mountains of West Virginia. His bodies of work include “Creatures of the heart” drawings, “New Worlds” watercolors and “Small Tales” which are little stories on some of the prints. Visit the gallery to see more of his artwork. His prints come in three sizes. We know that that one special piece may just speak to you and will become a “must have”!
Don’ forget to put Chili’in the Ville on your calendars for the heated chili competition from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 in downtown Northville.
