March is Women’s History Month and National Reading Month. Tying these two delightful subjects together, we are highlighting books written by women and other related items at the Dancing Eye Gallery.

This Friday, October 14, the Dancing Eye Gallery is hosting author Walter Esselman from 6-8 p.m. Walter will bring along signed copies of his two popular books and more of his inspirational cat postcards. Come and hear about the motivation behind his books and postcards!

Do you love to read? Enjoy meeting creative people? Can’t pass up an opportunity to shop at the Dancing Eye Gallery? Then this Friday, 4/8, is a chance for you to do all three!
The Dancing Eye Gallery invites you to Meet the Author from 6-9 p.m. on Friday. Browse all the local books that we have been featuring in the gallery for the last month to celebrate reading month in March and to showcase area authors. It will be a fun evening!
Dancing Eye Gallery Celebrates Reading Month
During the months of March and April, the Dancing Eye Gallery in Northville will be hosting local artists from Michigan featuring Jewish children’s books, a book about the history of Faygo and many other genres, celebrating March is Reading Month.
Books and locally handmade book-related accessories can be purchased from the Book Shanty, which is in the closed-street portion of Center and main in downtown Northville.
Some of the local Michigan authors include: Robin Gaines, Karen Buscemi, Joe Grimm, Debra Darvick, Cheryl Crabb and Michele Fecht to name just a few. We’re also featuring titles from Michigan’s own Arcadia Publishing and Sun Dog Press.
This event goes through April 25, 2022.
