August 26 is Women’s Equality Day (since 1973) which commemorates the 1920 certification of the 19th amendment to the Constitution granting women the right to vote. The Dancing Eye Gallery and our artists show our support for women which you can see as you shop throughout the store. Keep moving forward, ladies!

The dog days are the hot, sultry days of July and August. It is the time of year when Sirius (the Dog Star) is the brightest. The term has its roots in ancient cultures, astrology and maybe even old wives’ tales. Legend has it that it’s a time when dogs go mad and luck may not be the best, hence, plan your relaxing beach vacations during this hot weather and these longer days, keep your dog cool and comfortable, and yourself as well. Stay cool inside the Dancing Eye Gallery while you shop. We love dogs and have a great canine section!
