This week we celebrate two holidays: Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. Thanksgiving, celebrated this Thursday, is traditionally centered around a huge turkey dinner enjoyed with friends and family. Hanukkah, an eight-day “festival of lights” celebration beginning this Sunday, focuses on a nightly lighting of the menorah, prayers and eating fried foods, especially doughnuts. Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Hanukkah to all from the Dancing Eye Gallery!
