Mend on the Move Pop-Up

From mend on the move:

“We empower survivors of abuse through the artistry of salvaged auto parts and car seat leather. Each meticulously handcrafted piece you choose supports these resilient women and reduces the 3 tons of auto waste landfilled annually. By choosing our creations, you not only support these incredible women on their journey to reclaiming their lives within our uplifting community, but also join us in our mission to combat the environmental impact of auto waste. Join us in making Detroit a beacon of empowerment and sustainability. Make a difference today.”

We, at the Dancing Eye Gallery, hope that you will be empowered to join us this Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. to help support this nonprofit from Detroit and the women involved! They will be bringing pieces with them that are not currently in our store. Be unique!

Thank You Detroit News!

The Dancing Eye Gallery was featured in the Detroit News Homestyle section on Friday, June 21, 2024, as one of several locations where artistic, handmade tiles can be found. Not only tiles, but other decorative and functional pieces by mostly local ceramic artists have long been a passion of the owner. Tiles make interesting wall arrangements because of varied textures, colors and patterns. Tiles and other ceramic pieces are perfect as thank you, hostess and business gifts. Visit the gallery and see how you can transform your space into something unique and handmade!
