This Thursday, our beautiful state will celebrate her 180th birthday. Join in by appreciating and learning about things you may not have noticed or known about around the state this week. One easy way to say yes to Michigan is to support our local artists here at the Dancing Eye Gallery who have crafted many Michigan-themed items!

Happy birthday Michigan!

Now is a time we are thinking about changes. January seems to bring that upon us. Many of the stores that we grew up with are unfortunately closing their doors, giving in to alternate forms of shopping. Next Monday we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day which should bring to mind a multitude of changes that have occurred in our nation since the 1960s–some good, some not so good–but change just the same. We all need to look to the future.

The Dancing Eye Gallery is still here for you! We love downtown Northville! We’ve been here for over 20 years. Sure, we’ve tweaked our assortment, some or our artists, a few of our salespeople over the years, but we enjoy being here and hope to see you, our regular customers, and meet new ones this year! Some stability and some change: that’s what we’re about!
